Entertainment Television Channels Limited (ETC) manages the teleshopping channel TV Warehouse on Sky 676 and Freeview 90 (Greater Manchester area) - a 24/7 shopping channel which offers third parties the opportunity to purchase airtime in half hour blocks on a monthly basis.

ETC also manages the Manchester Television Network - comprising Freeview TV channels broadcasting to the Greater Manchester region. ETC operates this Freeview multiplex, offering broadcasters the opportunity to broadcast licenced channels to homes that receive Freeview in this area. This regional DTT capacity can handle six video streams (channels), and up to ten radio channels operating 24/7, and offers broadcasters DTT capacity at a much lower cost per household than national multiplex coverage. ETC deals with all aspects of the Multiplex including the technical and engineering requirements.

ETC can deal with all aspects of operating the channels, including EPG creation and delivery, scheduling, air-time sales, sponsorship, accounting and technical services.

 

ETC operates the channels “Country Music Entertainment” and “Shock Horror” and manages the multi platform distribution of these services on both OTT and Fast platforms internationally.

 

Well placed to expand, this will increasingly be a significant part of Canis as the number of channels under management expands, offering clients a one-stop service.
